The PROTRULY DARLING D7 – A $120 AUD Phone from AliExpress with a built in 360° VR Camera!

*Timestamps are integrated into the video now showing each segment dedicated to this device.
This video goes for almost an hour so that’s why there’s timestamps so you can skip to wherever you need to be. No harm in doing so! If you are here to see the teardown, you can skip to that. If you are here just for the specs, you can skip to that – absolutely no problems whatsoever!*

*Hey it’s me…Protruly…Darling!* and welcome back to somewhat of an episode in the abandoned “iHope” series, in which I planned to take a look at cheap products from various websites to see if they are any good or not. So that series may be alive but then again, iWish is a more popular term so maybe just leave all that confusion!

In todays video I am taking a look at the Protruly Darling D7. A fairly obscure phone released back in 2017. This was found on one of my random Live Streams and most of you wanted to see how this would perform. So I purchased it and about a week later, I had it in my hands.

This phone claims to have a 360 Degree VR Camera on it…which it certainly looks like it and I can confirm – does work fine.
Honestly, I was expecting this to be a trainwreck of a phone but…I actually like it.

If you want to check it out, here it is on AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003923921125.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.21ef1802Y08sn5

I tried to shorten this video down as much as possible but I struggled, so it goes for 58 minutes. But everything is covered within the video – except I don’t mention the resolution of the 2 x 180 Degree Lenses which are, accordingly 3.2MP each.
But, I do hope you enjoy the video regardless. Grab yourself a drink and a snack, sit back and let’s look at this weird and sort of ugly phone that is kind of impressive for the price!

Welcome back to another video! This is a very in-depth look at a fairly obscure phone that you folks chose for me to look at on one of my random live streams. This was a fairly fun phone to test and honestly not bad for the price! Would you buy one of these for the sake of it? Let me know down below, it will be interesting to hear what you lot have to say about it.
And of course I am basing the megapixel total from the resolution taken with each camera. Which would be 3.2MP but the sensor used is a 12MP? Confusing but just go along with it 🙂
