MACOM Technology Solutions to Join S&P MidCap 400, Shares Rise 7% – MarketWatch

Shares of MACOM Technology Solutions Holdings Inc. were trading higher in Friday’s after-hours market following news the company will join the S&P MidCap 400, effective Aug. 17.
At 5:23 p.m. EDT, the semiconductor company’s shares had risen 7.95% to trade at $66.29. The stock finished the day’s regular session with a 2.15% gain at $61.41 per share.
S&P Dow Jones Indices said MACOM will replace Sailpoint Technologies holdings, which is being acquired by Thoma Brava.
